There is a suburban train station along Terminal T3 linking the airport to the city center and also to the resorts of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Benalmádena along the Costa del Sol. This underground train stationis equipped with escalators, has very good intelligent direction signs and one can reach the square outside arrivals outside departures area. Buying train tickets through automated machines is a real fun too.
The bus terminal with ticket office is in front of arrivals building with seats and shelters. Tickets can be booked in advance online too. Direct bus to Malaga City is 50 minutes journey but he slower bus that stops at Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola takes about 90 minutes. There are direct bus routs to many destinations. You will find taxi rank outside Terminal T3. Please note that Malaga taxis do not have meters so be sure to negotiate the deal before starting.
